Background:
Born
and raised in Munich, Germany, Frieda graduated from her studies in both school
and dance, and moved to the slightly larger city of Frankfurt, to become an
instructor, but retired upon her marriage to Scottish-American, US Army Major.
Alexander Sinclair, and the birth of her daughter, Helga... Frieda soon settled
into the traditional housewife and mother role, giving birth to five more
children, all sons, however, she saw something of herself in Helga's growing
grace and athletic ability, and began encouraging her then four year old
daughter to pursue dance as she had... Unfortunately, by the time she had gotten
that idea into her head, Helga was already showing interest in the combat arts,
thanks to the influence of Alexander and her younger brothers... Frieda was
disappointed, and, at first, tried to steer her daughter away from weaponry and
combat... but eventually, she gave up, and was forced to resign herself to the
fact that she would never be as close to her daughter as Alexander was... and
ever since Helga left to begin training under Captain Rourke, at age seventeen,
their relationship has grown even more distant...
