Jance (Jinx) Korlox

Age: 17

  Description:

Jinx has long thick jet black hair that falls to her waist in small ripples. She has a pale complexion and flashing violet eyes that are a mystery to everyone. Jinx has a slim build but is stronger then she looks. Her height is 5'7".

Background:

After her father died when Jinx was 2, her mother sent her and her older brother, Adam, to live with her Aunt Abigail and her Uncle James. Jinx and Adam became very close to each other and their aunt and uncle over the next 15 years, so when Adam started working on a secret project Jinx was naturally curious.  Fearing for her safety, Abigail, James, and Adam discouraged her from finding out what it was. But when Jinx heard Adam was going away for awhile, there was no stopping her. She ran away in the middle of the night, following him.  Somehow, Jinx really isn't sure how it happened, she found herself stowing away on the ship bound for Atlantis, where her brother is a soldier. It is unknown to both at the moment, but Adam will be one of the soldier's that die before reaching their destination.

Personality:

Headstrong and naive, Jinx often finds herself in trouble, without quite knowing how she got there (hence the nick name Adam gave her). She's eager to please, and often too trusting for her own good. She has a playful, optimistic view on life and is full of energy. But don't underestimate her. Jinx is fiercely loyal (once she chooses her side), independent, and strong-willed. She is quick to action and won't hesitate to use what little bit of combat she knows if necessary.
