Meh-Len

Age: 9715

Occupation:

Works in the Tattoo Parlor during the day. Sometimes she freelances, painting furniture to sell. At night, she hides away in the Smoke House storage area, among the contraband, drawing on anything that presents itself – parchment, tabletops, walls – all in trying to recall the events of MEH-behl-moak.

Background:

Meh-Len and her family were one of the last Atlantians to make it into the crystal force field protecting Atlantis from complete annihilation. Her father had joined Oni's grandfather's band to help in the preservation of Atlantis' history. That was where Meh-Len's talents first emerged. She began drawing on the blank pages of books that had been salvaged from the devastating fires the King had ordered on all history. When the books came in short supply, she began doodling on tables and other types of furniture, moving onto walls, floor, ceilings...whatever could be reached. Soon, people began asking her to do the same for them. She soon began making visual historical accounts of the Cataclysm, but of course, those remained hidden away, in the cellar of their home or of the Smoke House. She began working for the Tattoo Parlor to give herself something to do, but never enjoyed it quite as much as painting the past.

Personality:

Short tempered, quick to the punch. Not one to trifle with. She has a deep caring buried within her, but only shares it with close friends and family.

Appearance:

Meh-Len is of average Atlantian height, wearing a loose-fitting wrap that secures over one shoulder, tying with a long belt, both ends nearly touching the ground. Her white hair is half tied up and folded (of sorts) in half, while the rest falls flat against her back. Her crystal is tied closely to her neck. She is guaranteed to be seen with a paintbrush or the like on her someway or how.
