Oniuh-potakh

Age: 7,400 (roughly)

Occupation:

Officially, owns and operates the Smoke House.  Unofficially, oversees the collection of contra-banned materials hidden there, mainly materials pertaining to the history of Alantis banned by the King after the cataclysm.

 

Background: 

After the Cataclysm, Oni's grandfather and several of the older Atlanteans realized the importance of their history and despite the Kings decree that all such things be destroyed, started the Smoke House as a center for their preservation efforts.  Their covert activities helped to earn the Smoke House its shady reputation.  Oni's father was a warrior and after the cataclysm, was assigned to patrolling the perimeter of the route to Atlantis.  He left Oni in the care of her Grandfather after her mother died.  He too, died a few years later in the line of duty.  Oni's grandfather raised her to understand the importance of her past and when he passed on, he left the Smoke House in her care.

 

Personality:

Oni is a bit bubble-headed and clumsy at times, but she really means well and takes her job very seriously (taking care of the collection, not the Smoke House's patrons.  She is a bit careless when it comes to paying customers).  When it comes down to it, though, she can take care of herself when it comes to the unsavory element that frequents the pub, but she certainly did not inherit any of her father's skill.
