Basically this is the place for any and all threads taking place after the film. Gosh, bet you couldn't guess that by the section title...

New Life (messages 436-557)	Rourke/Helga/Kida/ Atlanteans/any of the crew that stayed behind	After re-forming from the heat of the eruption, Rourke pulls Helga's body out from the wreckage of the gyro-evac. Almost by accident, he is able to keep her from dying, but then goes off by himself to contemplate his next move. Kida and a group of hunters discover Helga still unconscious and take her back to the city where she is bound and informed by Kida her fate will be decided once Milo returns as he has taken a brief trip to the surface. There is quite a bit of bickering on both sides and Helga refuses any help for her injuries. Kida finally arranges a room and guards for Helga at the Grand. The guards take Helga over and Kida goes to seek some more personal answers. Once safely in the room, the guards untie Helga and after realizing her leg is broken, she sets it and breaks off some extra legs from the bed to act as a splint.
The Cat in the Cage (messages 558-587)	Helga/Evah-lyn	Helga becomes more and more frustrated with being penned in and useless. As she's braiding her hair, she realizes she still has the wedding ring Chris gave her and hides it in the mattress. A rather reluctant Atlantean brings Helga a tray of food and curiosity getting the better of her, one of the guards, Evah-lyn, goes inside to ask Helga a few questions.
Visiting the Smokehouse (messages 588-653)	Kida/Oni	Kida arrives at the Smokehouse a littel irritated over their new visitor and a little distraught over Milo's safety. Her and Oni talk for a while and Oni continues to feel guilty and afraid over not telling Kida about all of the artifacts and scrolls hidden under the Smokehouse. Kida finally leaves to buy some more coffee.
Milo's Return (messages 654-802)	Milo/Kida/Rick	As Kida goes to the market in search of coffee, she is delivered news of Milo's return. He and Rick are emerging from the caves as she comes to meet them. It does not take long for her to mention that Helga has been found alive. They head back to the palace where Rick and Milo get cleaned up and a guard brings Rick some fresh clothes till his own can be cleaned. Jinx catches sight of the three heading through the market, but does not catch up with them before they head inside the palace and decides to wait out front. Finishing first, Milo heads back to the throne room and asks Kida about Helga and what they should do. Rick is not too far behind Milo and hides behind a pillar to listen. It is finally agreed there will be an assembly and a voting by the Atlantean people. Milo finally wonders where Rick got to and Rick tries to discretely slip back down the hallway and enter casually. Kida hears him in the attempt and jumps him from behind. The two of them wrestle on the ground (all in fun of course). Rick finally asks what they had been talking about and when Kida tells him, Milo realizes it might be a good time to let Kida know what the relationship was between Helga and Rick. Kida's reaction is understandably one of shock and they agree that one of them should talk to Rick about the whole situation. Milo attempts to get Rick to vent some of his feelings, but Rick brushes him off insisting he can deal with it. Finally, Milo returns to Kida and the two try to figure out a safe way to have Helga present for the public address. Everything decided, Milo goes to see Helga
Panic	Oni/Meh-len	Oni Runs to Meh-len in fear that Kida knows something about their hidden 'trove'. Meh-len tells her to stick to her guns.
Reunions (messages 803-844)	Milo/Helga	Helga is less than cordial with Milo, but more polite than she had been with Kida earlier. The two of them talk for a while about what is going to happen to her and Helga asks about Rick. She asks Milo to watch after him because even if she does make it out of this alive, she figures Rick won't want much to do with her. Milo agrees and offers to bring Rick by for a visit. Helga doesn't think he'll want to come, but says it's his business.
Unwanted Treatment (messages 845-932)	Milo/Helga/Kida	Milo emerges from his meeting with Helga a little confused as to why Kida was so concerned for his safety. After all, Helga DID have a broken leg and all... This comes as a complete surprise to Kida who calls immediately for guards to transport Helga to receive treatment. Helga threatens to bite anyone who comes near her and the age old debate ensues once again. Milo steps in the middle and Helga finally agrees to go with some reluctance. They arrive at the hospital and Kida gives orders for her injuries to bee seen to, but not healed by crystal. Upon arrival, the doctor examines Helga's leg, and discovers in addition to being broken, it is badly twisted and need to be reset. He also applies an herb to help it heal faster and another balm for the numerous burns covering her body. Five more distinct burn marks were found on her neck. After everything is seen to, Helga is taken back to her room and it is mentioned that she will be present at Kida's address to the people to which Helga reacts rather unfavorably. The conversation ends when Kida storms out.
Storming Out	Rick/Jinx/Milo	After storming out of the palace, Jinx finds Rick punching a wall. She finds out from him that Helga is still alive. She tries to get him to talk, but it doesn't go really well.
*Afternoon Coffee*	Kida/Oni	Kida returns to the Smokehouse, frustrated over her most recent encounter with Helga. She mentions the plan to let the people decide Helga's fate and asks Oni to be present at the address. Oni hesitantly agrees to try and Kida leaves.
*Happenings Upon*	Milo/Rick/Jinx	Milo comes across Rick and Jinx and offers to take Rick to go see Helga. Angry, Rick runs off again but Jinx says that she would like to see her. Milo agrees to take her after they radio Packard so that she can tell the rest of the crew Helga was found. There is a large commotion and he tells Jinx to radio and goes to see what was going on.
Unexpected Visitor (messages 1039-1040)	Chris/Whitmore	Whitmore returns home three days after the launch of the expedition to find a strange man in his study. It turns out to be Christopher Jenkins and he has been sent on orders to bring back Helga. Whitmore tells Chris Helga is on a specialized mission and Chris reveals he knows about the Atlantis expedition.
Cast Off (message 1041)	Chris/Whitmore	Whitmore offers to help Chris catch up with the crew and sets out a sister ship called the Plato. Before the ship leaves, he mentions that Helga had been taking care of a boy named Rick.
Water Works (message 1042)	Chris/second crew	Time passes and no sign of the first expedition. They finally come across the ship graveyard, but at the same time, a German U-boat. The Leviathan comes across both ships and begins attacking. Chris orders evacuation before the Plato explodes. Including Chris, only 30 crew members survived.
The Search Begins (messages 1043-1068)	Chris/Kida	After more time passes, Chris and his team finally come to the cliff over looking the city. An Atlantean patrol spots them and takes them back to the palace to see Kida. The queen is suspicious of the new Commander and even more so after she learns he was sent to find Helga. She agrees to let him see her, but will not leave him to speak privately until he finally admits that he is Helga's husband. Even then, she stays close by the door.
Out of Dreams (messages 1069-1189)	Chris/Helga/Kida	Helga wakes up to find Christopher in her room. At first she thinks it's a side effect of the medicine the doctor gave her, but Christopher assures her he is quite real. At fist, Helga is livid that he was alive and never contacted her. More so that he is doing so now when he needs something of her. Chris explains that he couldn't reach her before, that he tried once, but the letter must not have gotten through and it would have been dangerous for her own safety if he had tried anything further. Helga tries to come to grips with this and explain a little of all that happened. Upon leaving, Chris asks Kida what is going to happen to Helga. She informs him of the address and the pending vote. Chris suggests that she allow him and Helga to train their warriors. Kida is reluctant but says it will be considered if it is voted that Helga is to provide service to the community. Kida also question Chris's use of the term 'we', that he was certainly under no obligation, but he insists that no matter what, he is staying with Helga. Kida takes Chris to his men and he gives the order to disarm. He tells them to return to the surface in two days, with or without him and Helga. He then returns with Kida to the Atlantean Grand and Kida gives him the room next to Helga and says he may visit her any time he like. Chris then makes himself comfortable and settles down for the first decent night's sleep in years.
To Stay or Defend (messages 1190-1212)	Milo/Kida/Helga/Chris	Milo, Kida, and a small entourage of guards show up to ask Helga some more questions. In the ensuing 'vocal discussion', Chris wakes up and goes to see what is happening.. Kida and Helga continue to go back and forth over whether or not Helga should be present at the speach. Kida thinks Helga should mention her husband and Rick as factors in her fate, but Helga flat out refuses to drag them into it as an excuse. Finally Kida convinces her that she needs to at least try to save herself for the sake of those she cares about and Helga agrees reluctantly to go, but still refuses to mention either Chris or Rick to the Atlantean people.
In the Hands of Many (messages 1214-1218)	Milo/Kida/Helga/Chris/Atlantean People	Kida makes her adress to the people, letting them know the situation and what they are to do. She asks Helga if she has anything in her defense. Helga simply affirms that everything that was said about her was true. After concluding, Kida, drained from the events of the day retires.
Happily Ever After ? (messages 1219-1242)	Chris/Helga	Chris takes Helga back to her room and stays behind after the guards leave. Helga expresses her fears that the Atlanteans will condemn her to death and Chris does everything he can to comfort her.
Unpleasant Discoveries (messages 1243-1245)	Chris/Helga/Rick	Rick sneaks in to see Helga disguised as the person bringing food. He is a little surprised to say the least to find Chris there and upon learning who he is, decks him with a couple of moves Helga taught him. Chris leaves to give Rick and Helga some time to talk and after a brief heated debate, Rick storms off.
Calm in the Storm (message 1246)	Chris/Helga	Seeing Rick storm out, Chris gives Helga his last cigarette and tries to get her to relax and clear her mind.
Passing Judgement (messages 1248-1259)	Milo/Kida/Helga/Chris/Atlantean People	Chris and Helga are brought once again in front of Milo, Kida, and the Atlantean people to hear the judgment passed down. Kida announces that it is the will of the people Helga remain in Atlantis for an as yet indefinite amount of time, performing what services she may be able. As Kida attempts to give Helga a crystal, it is revealed that the Atlanteans have a lengthened lifespan and by all appearances, Chris and Helga will have to remain down there for many thousands of years. Both Chris and Helga are shocked by the news. Helga grudgingly accepts the crystal having little other choice and Chris keeps trying to learn more about the crystals themselves from Milo. Milo also gives Chris a crystal and asks if he want's to keep his same room. Chris replies that he would rather stay with Helga , but both Milo and Kida are reluctant to give in on that point. Kida however agrees to consider it before retiring and ordering the guards to escort the pair back to their rooms.
Decisions (message 1260)	Chris/Helga	Helga tries to make it back the room by using Chris for support, but is forced to give up and he carries her the rest of the way. After setting her back on her bed, Helga once again asks if Chris is sure he wants to stay, that given the timespan, he won't have any regrets. Chris assures her he won't and even if he does, he would rather have those than regret never seeing her again.
Much Ado About Helga (message 1261)	Milo/Kida	Milo and Kida return home tired from a long day and as Kida starts to put things away, Milo again brings up the question of rooming Chris with Helga. They decide to give the two of them a kind of probationary period, but Chris will have to agree to be searched before being let back in with Helga. Before Kida dozes off, Milo mentions the idea of taking Helga on a tour of the city, showing her what she almost destroyed. Kida is skeptical, but agrees lo let him before falling asleep. Milo carries her into the throne room and covers her with a blanket before retiring to his own room.
Check Ups (messages 1262-1296)	Milo/Kida/Helga/Whedon/Chris	Helga is taken back to the hospital for a check up. Whedon makes sure it is still set properly and it is not long before Helga and Kida get into another fight. Whedon cautions both of them to restrain themselves as it would be distressing to the other patients. Helga realizes that just her being there was distressing to the other patients and thanks Whedon, but explains she can take care of it from there. After Milo and Kida drop her off in her room again, she braces herself against the bed in an effort to walk, just trying to keep herself occupied so she wouldn't think about her predicament. Chris wakes up and after dressing, goes in to see Helga. He suggests they take a walk around the city.
Promenade (messages 1297)	Chris/Helga/Milo	Helga points out it might not be a good idea as the guards would probably not let her leave and the Atlanteans were truly scared of her. Chris refuses to give up and Helga finally agrees to let him try. They get to the door, but the guard informs them Kida has ordered Helga not leave save if it is to have the room cleaned. Chris asks to talk with Milo and his guard escorts him to the library where Milo appeared to be engrossed in some dusty volumes. Chris tells Milo he had wanted a chance to get Helga some exercise and explore the city he would now be calling home. Milo agrees provided the guards also accompany them and the two go back to Helga's room.
After a Long Day (messages 1362-1433)	Milo/Kida	After the day with Chris and Helga, Milo returns to the palace to find Kida studying the language chart he made for her. After a brief exchange, it comes out that he had taken both Chris and Helga out of their quarters for the day. Milo agrees he should have told her first and the two fall into a discussion as to how Helga might have been able to survive the fall and the volcanic eruption. It's finally decided they should take her to where it happened as soon as she was able. If she was telling the truth, that she really didn't remember, seeing the spot again might jog her memory.
For Good Behavior (messages 1362-1445)	Milo/Kida/Chris/Helga	Milo and Kida got to tell Chris and Helga that Chris is allowed to move in with her. After Chris brings over his few belongings, he practically shoves everyone out the door, but not before getting a few coins from Milo to get something to smoke in the marketplace.
Like Stories (messages 1448-1449)	Chris/Helga	The morning after their Chris moves in, he and Helga talk briefly about the past and the question arises in Helga's mind as to whether or not they would still be considered married by Atlantean standards.
For Good Behavior (cont) (messages 1450-1452)	Kida/Chris/Oni/Helga	Chris goes out to the market looking for something to smoke and runs into Kida. She shows him to a market stall where the vender supplies him with some rolled leaf tobacco. As they leave, Kida spots Oni as she stumbles and drops the food she was carrying for the Smoke House. Oni is startled to say the least at seeing Kida with the outsider and the two have a brief exchange in Atlantean. Knowing they were talking about him, but not knowing what specifically, Chris leaves and returns to Helga.
Awkward Situations (messages 1453-1454)	Kida/Chris/Oni	Kida visits the Smoke House in an effort to relax and Chris happens upon the place. He orders a drink and talks with Kida while Oni tries not to break anything out of nervousness. Kida finally convinces Oni to give Chris a chance and Oni fixes him a plate of peh-dunech (a soft garlic bread). Chris tries some and asks for a container to take the rest with him.
In the Past (messages 1455-1458)	Kida/Oni	Kida and Oni talk for a while longer and Kida brings up mention of her mother and the MEH-behl-moak. Oni gets very nervous as talk of such things had previously been strictly banned.
