Rules

Ok, not much to this, but let's get this all out in the open.

1) If you decide to adopt one or more (you can take as many as you like) of these plushies, just right-click the image and save, then upload it to your own server.  Do not, I repeat do not direct link.  If I see direct linking, I'll just change the file name and instead of a cute little plushie, you'll have a cute little red 'x' on your site.  ^_~

2) If you put a plushie up on your site you must link back here to the index page (or where instructed to as is the case with the Atlantis plushies). The address again is: http://road2nowhere.8m.com/inkpaint/

3) If you are putting the plushie on a page specifically for sprites and other adoptables, a link back on the image itself is fine.  If you are putting it anywhere else, please be specific and put in text where you got it from in addition to a link back.  Something like 'adoptable plushie from Ink & Paint Plush' under the image is fine.  That info must be with the image, not on another page like 'site info.'

4) If you want to use the plushies as avatars for forums and the like, that's fine, but the same rules still apply (except for #8).  You must still upload it to your own server (the bandwidth would eat me alive if you didn't) and you must give credit and a link back in your signature line.

5)  I think it goes without saying, but do not under any circumstances take the plushie and use them without credit or try to claim them as your own.  That is theft and I have proof they are mine.  Like I said, I don't think anyone is planning on that, after all, a link back is pretty easy to do, right?

6)  Included in Rule 5, offering them for adoption to others on your own site is also theft.  One, you are implying that they are your own creation to give, two, the people then taking them are bypassing reading these lovely rules you're reading now.  And after all, if you had to sit through reading them, shouldn't they?

7) Do not change or alter the plushies in any way.  It took me some time to make them and I'd rather they stay as they are.  It you would like to make them smaller, that is ok, but that is all.  If there is something you'd really like to see like a different costume or such, sign the Wish Book.  That's not a guarantee it will get done, but I will check it periodically.

8) After you take a plushie and put it on your site, please sign the Parents Book.  That way other people can see who adopted and I can see their new happy homes ^_^
